Radrizzani backs Leeds to bounce back from Cardiff shocker

Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani has predicted a fightback after seeing the club slip from the top of the Sky Bet Championship table.

The Yorkshiremen headed into Tuesday night’s showdown with Cardiff sitting on top of the pile, but returned from South Wales having been replaced by the Bluebirds after a humbling 3-1 defeat during which skipper Liam Cooper was sent off.

However, Radrizzani is confident there will be a response from Thomas Christiansen’s players, who face the short trip to derby rivals Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday.

On Wednesday morning, he tweeted: “It s not a bad day to change our ambition and objectives. the boys will react well and learn from these experiences. #ambition #pride @lufc.”

Leeds would find themselves in third place should Wolves emerge from tonight’s trip to Sheffield United with anything to show for their efforts.
