Super agent Mino Raiola has insisted that a sensational swap deal between Manchester United and Real Madrid involving Paul Pogba is not out of the question.
Pogba has continually faced speculation over his future ever since he moved back to United in 2016. He has proved a largely inconsistent player, with his talents hidden away amid lacklustre performances. However, he has become a vital figure this season, making several vital contributions.
Indeed, he scored the winning goal in the Europa League last-16 clash with AC Milan. Furthermore, he won United six Premier League points with goals against Fulham and Burnley.
Nevertheless, Pogba’s contract runs out next summer after United extended his terms by a year. As such, a decision over whether to keep or sell looms.
Madrid have continually been linked with Pogba, with Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane a firm admirer of his fellow Frenchman.
Asked if a move to Madrid could still be on the cards amid the cost of the coronavirus pandemic, the midfielder’s agent admitted that Eden Hazard could enter the equation.
Raiola told AS: “I do not know. I think that nothing is impossible, but football depends on the day. As it is. And you have to be flexible to think of all the possibilities.
“And if tomorrow Madrid wants to make a Hazard-Pogba change? It is just an example. And if all four parties like it, why not?”

Paul Pogba: Jose Mourinho went against players, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wouldn't
In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports, Paul Pogba delivered a scathing verdict on Jose Mourinho's man-management and his reaction to Man Utd’s victory at Tottenham.
Pogba put in another fine display for United in Thursday’s Europa League semi-final clash with Roma, netting his side’s fifth as they came from behind to win 6-2.
Asked why the 28-year-old has not yet moved to Madrid, Raiola stressed that the desire remains.
Pogba could leave Man Utd for Madrid
“It is a question to ask Madrid,” the agent said. “At one time Pogba felt a lot of love and trust from United, and there were several other clubs.
“Later, it is very difficult for United and Madrid to understand each other for a great transfer, because strong clubs do not want to sell strong players to other strong clubs.
“And I’m not going to fool him, for Pogba playing for Madrid was always a very attractive thing for Zidane too. He is his idol as a young man.”
The Manchester Evening News claims that United value Pogba at £80million going into the summer transfer window.
