Rangers complete season-long loan deal for Liverpool attacker

Sheyi Ojo TEAMtalk

Rangers have completed the signing of winger Sheyi Ojo from Liverpool on a season-long loan deal.

The 21-year-old has made 13 senior appearances for the Reds and has had previous loan spells at Wigan, Wolves and Fulham, and last season in French Ligue 1 with Stade de Reims.

Ojo has also represented England at various levels, including being part of the Under-20 squad which won the World Cup in 2017, where he came off the bench in the final as the Three Lions beat Venezuela 1-0.

Having featured heavily in pre-season for the Reds last summer, Ojo eventually headed out on-loan to Reims where he featured in 17 games, scoring once.

Another Reds winger, Ryan Kent, had a highly successful spell at Ibrox in 2018-19, picking up the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award.
