Rangers v Raith preview

Captain Lee McCulloch misses a second game through suspension while Sebastien Faure, Richard Foster, Stevie Smith and Remie Streete are all still sidelined.

McCall told the club’s website: “Walsh took part in about an hour long bounce game and has come through with no ill-effect so hopefully he should be okay to be involved in the squad for Sunday. I think Cammy has done a light bit of training so there’s a possibility that he’ll available.

“Shiels needed a rest with aches and pains and the fact that we were playing on the astro pitch in Dumfries – so he’ll be fresh for Sunday. Jon Daly is also out and he’ll likely not be ready for another 10 days or so.”

Raith Rovers head to Govan looking for their first league victory at Ibrox for 56 years. However, they will be buoyed by memories of their 2-1 Scottish Cup triumph at the same stadium in February.
