Real Madrid prepare for Ronaldo exit by renewing interest in Man Utd star

Real Madrid are reportedly renewing their interest in Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.

With the European champions more increasingly looking to life after Cristiano Ronaldo they have apparently got England man Rashford on their radar.

Ok Diario report that Real Madrid are now circling for the forward, who scored one of the penalties which helped England knock out Colombia in the World Cup round of 16 match this week.

Juventus look to be closing in on an £88million deal for Ronaldo, although United themselves are believed to be interested, according to The Sun.

The Manchester Evening News have recently claimed that Jose Mourinho remains unconvinced that Rashford can provide adequate back-up for Romelu Lukaku next season and claimed Mario Mandzukic and Marko Arnautovic were targets for United.

Rashford’s game time at Old Trafford has not been what he would have liked and he has hinted, while on England duty, at being frustrated.

“Every player will tell you that it is always frustrating when you don’t start,” he said.

The 20-year-old has been linked with a loan move with the Daily Mail reporting last month that Leicester were interested in the  youth academy product.

Meanshile, Don Balon claimed in April that Mourinho was ready to use Rashford in exchange for Spain playmaker Isco.
