Real Madrid stars poke fun at Granada boss Tony Adams

Tony Adams has already begun to be a figure of fun after footage emerged of Real Madrid’s bench laughing at him on Saturday night.

Former England and Arsenal man Adams was in the dug out for Granada for Saturday’s 4-0 defeat to Real and during the loss – his fifth in five games – he was the focal point of plenty of laughs from the opposing bench.

Zinedine Zidane had decided to rest several of Real Madrid’s with Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final, second-leg against Atletico Madrid coming up on Wednesday.

Television cameras first caught Karim Benzema, the Real substitute, questioning Adams’ dress sense, which included a waistcoat, while fellow sub Isco taunted the 50-year-old.

According to Marca, Isco shouted: ‘Waiter! A Coca Cola!’

A remark which Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, alongside him, found hilarious.

His attire was in stark contrast to the jogging bottoms he paraded in the recent defeat to Celta Vigo.

The former England international took over the reins at the lowly Spanish side last month in an effort to help them avoid the drop, but Adams has lost all five of his matches in charge, conceding 13 and scoring just once.
