Rosler assured Byram won’t be sold

Byram has been linked with several Premier League clubs in recent times, but Rosler is confident of keeping hold of the right-back, who Leeds are said to value at £8million.

“I’ve heard a lot of talk about Sam Byram but we’ve only received one enquiry, we haven’t even had an official bid,” Rosler told talkSPORT.

“Sam is as good as gold. He works extremely hard, as does the whole squad.

“He’s playing very well and has a contract with us. Obviously he’s a talented young English player, so people are going to be sniffing around him, but Mr Cellino has told me we don’t need to sell.

“There are no plans whatsoever to sell one of our young talented players.”
