Jordy Clasie is finally set to make his Premier League debut when Southampton face Leicester on Saturday.

The midfielder has missed the Saints’ opening eight league games initially after sustaining a hamstring injury in the Europa League qualifying win over Vitesse Arnhem in July.

The former Feyenoord midfielder then suffered an ankle injury while playing for the Saints’ Under-21 side in August.

But Clasie continued his recovery with an appearance in a behind-closed-doors friendly win over Ajax last week and Ronald Koeman is likely to be abble to call upon the 24-year-old when the Foxes arrive at St Mary’s this weekend.
