Bournemouth star Ryan Fraser has hinted that he could snub interest from Arsenal this summer and stay with the Cherries into next season.

Fraser’s contract expires in 2020, and recent reports had suggested the Scotland international has no intention of renewing, and will try to persuade the club to sell him this summer.

This season has been his most prolific yet, with seven goals and 13 assists in the Premier League. And now he is ready to capitalise on his good form by pushing for a transfer, rather than leaving on a free the year after.

Arsenal have been linked with the 25-year-old for some time, while Tottenham and Chelsea were also said to be monitoring developments, but Fraser has sent a message to interested clubs.

He said: “I’ve got a year left. There’s a very good chance I’ll be here next season.

“If that’s that then I’m going to try my best as I always do and I’ll enjoy it. I love the group here and the fans. There’s no bad side to what’s happening.

“There’s a good chance I’ll be here next season and I’ll try and beat my assists record next season as well.”
