AC Milan have joined Liverpool and Barcelona in the race to sign a PSG midfielder, according to the latest reports.

Rabiot can walk away from PSG for free next summer and they are desperate to keep hold of the player, who has been linked with Barca and Juventus among others.

It was recently claimed that new PSG boss Thomas Tuchel wants to build a team around the disciplined Rabiot and they are believed to have already resisted bids from Barcelona and Inter for the player.

It’s claimed that Rabiot is also emerging as a target for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and it’s suggested the Reds could sign the player on a pre-contract agreement in January, if he turns down a move to the Camp Nou.

Now, French outlet Le10Sport state that AC Milan are eyeing the possibility of signing the 23-year-old on a free next summer, with director Leonardo planning a huge contract to tempt the midfielder.

Tuchel has admitted he fears Rabiot, who played in PSG’s win over Guingamp on, is likely to leave.

“It’s not certain if Adrien stays at PSG. It all depends on him,” he said after last Sunday’s 3-0 win against Caen.

“For me he’s a great player. He can grow even more and become a top player.”
