Four Premier League sides have made the list of the top 10 replica shirt sales – with Manchester United top of the pile.
United may be battling to secure Champions League football next season, but they’re top of the shop when it comes to shirt sales, their total of 2,850,000 largely aided by the high-profile captures of football superstars Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Astonishingly, United sold more than two million more shirts than North-West rivals Liverpool (705,000) while Arsenal and Chelsea also take their place in the top 10.
Major sides to miss out included Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, Tottenham and Manchester City.
News of United topping the replica shirt sales list comes just a couple of weeks after the club returned to the top of Deloitte’s football rich list – with eight Premier League clubs making up the top 20.
The list was published in the Daily Star and you can see it below.
