Sky Live: Blackburn v Ipswich

The 35-year-old has announced he will be leaving Rovers this summer and will get a chance to bid farewell and add to his 377 appearances.

Winger Paul Taylor is ineligible to play against his parent club and boss Gary Bowyer is not expecting any of his injury casualties to return, so Alex Baptiste (hamstring), Shane Duffy (knee), Grant Hanley (calf), Chris Taylor (groin), Jason Steele (illness), Matt Kilgallon (thigh) and Jason Lowe (foot) all miss out again.

Bowyer has looked at his youngsters in recent weeks so Darragh Lenihan, John O’Sullivan and David Raya, who this week signed a new three-year deal, may be included.

Noel Hunt returns to the Ipswich squad after recovering from knee ligament damage quicker than expected.

The striker will travel to Blackburn, with Luke Varney ineligible to face his parent club.

Boss Mick McCarthy will also be without Luke Hyam and David McGoldrick as his side look to secure a play-off spot.

Richard Chaplow is doubtful due to a groin injury but is expected to travel with the squad.

Watch Blackburn v Ipswich live on Sky Sports 2 HD on Saturday from 12.10pm.
