Premier League trio Leeds Utd, Leicester City and Crystal Palace are tracking Hull City defender Alfie Taylor, TEAMtalk understands.
Taylor, who has come through the ranks at Hull, is highly-regarded at the Championship club having impressed during his time progressing up the club’s age ranks.
The 19-year-old centre-half has been a regular for the club’s Under-18s and Under-23s side in the last couple of seasons.
Taylor has been training on a regular basis with Liam Rosenior’s first-team squad and he has been named on the bench for the recent games with Watford, Blackburn and Middlesbrough.
The left-sided centre-back’s performances for Hull’s U18s and U23s side have brought him onto the radar of several Premier League sides, including Leeds, Leicester and Crystal Palace.
Leeds, Leicester and Palace are all looking to bolster their defensive options in the summer and they see Taylor as someone with huge potential who they could develop into a Premier League player in the future.
Hull are determined to keep hold of the talented teenager, but they are bracing themselves for offers for Taylor when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
Of the three interested sides, it may be Palace who have the greatest immediate need for reinforcements at centre-half.
Marc Guehi is courting interest from north London pair Arsenal and Tottenham. Of the two, a move to Spurs would make the most sense given Clement Lenglet will return to Barcelona once his loan concludes and doubts are emerging over the future of Davinson Sanchez.
In the event Guehi is plucked out of Selhurst Park, Chelsea will receive a sizeable sum after inserting a sell-on fee when selling Guehi to Palace for £18m in 2021.
