Tottenham and Manchester City are among the clubs taking an interest in Sunderland star Josh Maja, according to the latest reports.
The 19-year-old has taken League One by storm this season, netting 11 goals for the Black Cats as they continue their bid for promotion back to the Championship.
The player’s form has given Sunderland a headache, with Southampton and Bristol City also credited with interest in the teenage forward.
Their manager Jack Ross revealed there is no news over a new deal for Maja, giving interested clubs hope.
“There is no update,” Ross revealed.
“He will be here minimum until January. I would expect him to be here longer than that. I am confident of that.
“I know he is enjoying it. He is playing and contributing. He is only young. To get 11 goals so far, he deserves huge credit.”
The report from the Mirror suggests that the Wearside club would find a £6million bid too difficult to turn down come January.
