Spurs eye Championship duo as part of £114m triple swoop
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has set his sights on three players to bolster his Spurs squad this summer, a report claims.
According to the London Evening Standard, the Argentine is targeting a Ligue 1 star as well as a Championship duo in the offseason.
The report states that Spurs will make summer moves for Fulham’s young teenage star Ryan Sessegnon, who The Times claimed last month could cost up to £50million.
Meanwhile, the North London club are also apparently interested in Norwich City hotshot James Maddison, with various reports suggesting he is worth somewhere in the region of £20million.
Finally, Tottenham are set to return for Bordeaux’s Malcom, a player who was also being chased by Arsenal in January.
Malcom is believed to be valued at €50m (£44m), and recently admitted that he wanted to leave Bordeaux in January, but stayed to help the club out.
“I wanted to leave, I tell the truth,” Malcom said to Telefoot. “It’s my dream to progress in my career.
“I spoke with the president [Stephane Martin], he told me that he knew it was my dream, but that he needed me.
“I told him he could count on me until the end [of the season]. I will do everything to bring Bordeaux to the top six in Ligue 1.”
