Spurs ready bid for £50m England starlet linked with Liverpool, Man Utd

Tottenham are getting ready to launch an official first bid for Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon, according to the latest reports.
Sessegnon’s current contract at Craven Cottage runs until the end of the next season, and they risk losing the 18-year-old for free in the summer of 2020 if he refuses to sign a new deal.
Speculation has since been rife that Fulham are keen to cash in on the England Under-21 star this summer and there will be plenty of interest in the versatile left-footed player.
Reports have claimed that Manchester United and Liverpool have both compiled ‘detailed scouting reports’ on Sessegnon ahead of a potential swoop, but Spurs seem to be the most serious suitors.
Now, a report from football.london states that the north London side are plotting an official bid for Sessegnon, but could wait until England U21s have finished their campaign at the European Championship.
Fulham will apparently demand in the region of £50million to sell this summer and could spark a bidding war given the clubs interested, but Spurs are not likely to open with an offer of that amount.
When Sessegnon was asked about his future at Craven Cottage he was far from convincing.
“I’m still a Fulham player, contracted until 2020,” Sessegnon told Sky Sports News. “So I’m still a Fulham player and in terms of that, that’s all I can say at the moment.”
