Spurs to rival Serie A duo for unsettled Napoli defender valued at £20m

Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race for Napoli defender Elseid Hysaj, according to reports.
Hysaj is actively looking for a way out of Napoli after they signed Giovanni Di Lorenzo from Empoli, with Kevin Malcuit already ahead of him in the pecking order for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
The Albanian right-back had been linked with Atletico Madrid, before they signed Kieran Trippier – the man he could now replace at Spurs.
According to the Sunday Express, Mauricio Pochettino is ready to move for Hysaj after Juan Foyth picked up an injury in a match against Bayern Munich last week.
Pochettino had been experimenting with the centre-back in a wider defensive role, but depending on the severity of Foyth’s injury, he could now be left short on cover in the position.
Hysaj is available for around £20m, but is also of interest to Napoli’s Serie A rivals Roma and Juventus – who would have longer to get a potential transfer done, given that the Premier League’s window closes earlier.
