Paper Talk: Man City star in shock exit talk after Pep fall out

Sterling De Bruyne TEAMtalk

Raheem Sterling will push for a move out of Manchester City after a major disagreement with Pep Guardiola, while Philippe Coutinho’s deal to bring him back to the Premier League is done, all in the papers on Friday.

STERLING FALL OUT

Raheem Sterling could leave Manchester City this summer after a fall out with Pep Guardiola, according to Don Balon.

The Spanish outlet say “Sterling left the Parc des Princes in monumental anger” this week. The England man was overlooked for the 2-1 Champions League semi-final win over PSG. Instead Guardiola plumped for Phil Foden on the left wing and on Bernardo Silva as a false nine.

Sterling only played two minutes of the quarter-finals against Dortmund with Kevin De Bruyne and Silva used as a striker. Sterling was also left on the bench in the recent win over Aston Villa.

Sterling has been struggling for form of late, but the source claim his omission is not down to a “sporting issue”.

Instead the outlet suggest there is a “personal issue” and their relationship has “seriously deteriorated” after a “strong argument they had a while ago”.

It’s reported the pair have “hardly spoken” and been unable to put their differences aside.

That has led Sterling to think about his future and a “change of scenery” has been mooted.

Real Madrid have previously been linked with the 26-year-old and the source say they have “already taken an interest in Sterling”.
