Ashley Young: On the move?

Stoke City have sounded out Manchester United about the availability of winger Ashley Young, report the Sun.

The Potters are in the market for a new wide player after agreeing to sell Marco Arnautovic to West Ham in a £24million deal, with veteran Young believed to be top of their wanted list.

Young, 32, appeared to be set to join the Premier League exodus to the Chinese Super League in January, but he rejected a lucarative move to Shandong Luneng in a bid to try and salvage his Man Utd career.

However, with Jose Mourinho continuing to bolster his squad for United’s return to the Champions League, he is now resigned to the realities of remaining at Old Trafford having failed to feature so far on their pre-season US tour.
