Harry Kane: Backed to score for Tottenham at Everton

After landing a 50/1 payout last time, Dave Tindall is tipping Tottenham hot-shot Harry Kane to find the net and spark more profits this weekend.

Premier League Top Scorers

12 Jamie Vardy (Leicester) Last 6 in all comps: 1-1-0-1-2-1 = 6

7 Riyad Mahrez (Leicester) Last 6 games: 0-2-1-0-0-0 = 3

7 Odion Ighalo (Watford) Last 6 games: 0-2-0-0-1-0 = 3

7 Romelu Lukaku (Everton) Last 6 games: 1-1-0-0-0-1 = 3

6 Harry Kane (Tottenham) Last 6 games: 1-1-1-3-0-0 = 6

6 Olivier Giroud (Arsenal) Last 6 games: 0-1-1-0-1-1 = 4

6 Graziano Pelle (Southampton) Last 6 games: 0-1-1-0-0-1 = 3

Analysis: As long as he comes through a late fitness test, Jamie Vardy is a cracking price at 5/4 to match the record of scoring in 10 successive Premier League games. Quite simply, if he was playing for a more fashionable club, he’d be around 4/7. Harry Kane has found his scoring boots again, netting in his last four Spurs games, so is worth a go at near even money to fire in another at home to West Ham – just as he did last season. With those doubts over Vardy, we’ll put Kane in the acca.

Best bets:

Jamie Vardy to score anytime v Leicester at 5/4
Harry Kane to score anytime v West Ham at 20/21

Championship Top Scorers

10 Andre Gray (Burnley) Last 6 games: 0-2-2-0-0-2 = 6

9 Nick Blackman (Reading) Last 6 games: 0-0-0-0-1-1 = 2

8 Ross McCormack (Fulham) Last 6 games: 1-1-1-1-0-0 = 4

8 Jonathan Kodjia (Bristol City) Last 6 games: 0-1-1-0-0-0 = 3

8 Chris Martin (Derby) Last 6 games: 0-0-0-1-0-2 = 3

8 Jordan Rhodes (Blackburn) Last 6 games: 0-0-1-0-0-0 = 1

Analysis: Several of the top six have cooled off so the two options here are Andre Gray and Ross McCormack but they’re excellent ones. Burnley host leaders Brighton but Gray has scored twice in each of his last three home games and the visitors have let in more away goals than 17th-place Preston so are hardly watertight. At nearly 2/1, Gray is real value.

McCormack landed this column a 50/1 payout with his injury-time consolation against Birmingham last time and is also juicy odds at 9/5 to score for the fifth game running. Fulham travel to MK Dons (21st), who let in their fair share.

Best bets:

Andre Gray to score anytime v Brighton at 19/10
Ross McCormack to score anytime v MK Dons at 9/5

League One Top Scorers

12 Adam Armstrong (Coventry) Last 6 games: 2-2-0-0-0-2 = 6

9 Paddy Madden (Scunthorpe) Last 6 games: 0-2-0-2-0-1 = 5

8 Leon Clarke (Bury) Last 6 games: 1-1-0-0-0-0 = 2

7 Sylvain Ebanks-Blake (Chesterfield) Last 6 games: 1-0-1-0-2-1 = 5

7 Billy Sharp (Sheffield United) Last 6 games: 0-0-0-0-1-0 = 1

7 Peter Vincenti (Rochdale) Last 6 games: 0-0-0-0-0-1 = 1

Analysis: 11 of Adam Armstrong’s 12 League One goals have come at home and in four of those matches he’s actually bagged a brace. Coventry host leaders Gillingham but the visitors have let in just one less away goal than basement boys Crewe so back Armstrong at a hefty 7/1 to score two or more in front of his home fans for the fourth match running. He’s 6/4 to score anytime and we’ll put that bet in our acca.

Best bet:

Adam Armstrong to score 2 or more v Gillingham at 7/1

League Two Top Scorers

11 Jay Simpson (Leyton Orient) Last 6 games: 0-0-0-0-1-1 = 2

8 Barry Corr (Cambridge) Last 6 games: 0-0-1-0-0-1 = 2

8 Marc Richards (Northampton) Last 6 games: 0-1-1-0-0-1 = 3

8 Josh Windass (Accrington) Last 6 games: 0-1-1-1-0-0 = 3

8 Jabo Ibehre (Carlisle) Last 6 games: 0-0-0-0-1-0 = 1

Analysis: Marc Richards loves the away matches and has bagged in two-thirds (6) of Northampton’s road games including each of the last four. The Cobblers travel to 15th-place Notts County this weekend so he’s well worth a punt at 19/10 to get the visiting fans roaring once more. Josh Windass has netted in three of his last four games so, on first glance, looks big at 2/1 to register again when Accrington travel to a Cambridge side who have shipped 13 goals at home. However, only two of Windass’ nine goals this season have come on the road so it’s Richards who deserves to be in the acca.

Best bet:

Marc Richards to score anytime v Notts County at 19/10

Best-priced goalscorer acca (one from each division):

Kane, Gray, Armstrong & Richards at 36/1
