Exclusive: Swansea join race for Brentford hotshot Hogan
Swansea City are tracking highly-rated Brentford forward Scott Hogan, sources have told TEAMtalk.
Hogan has scored six goals in nine appearances so far this season, including a stunning hat-trick in Saturday’s 5-0 win over Preston North End.
Hogan joined Brentford from Rochdale in the summer of 2014, but saw his progress at the club hampered by suffering two serious cruciate knee ligament injuries in 12 months.
The forward has battled his way back to fitness and he returned to first-team action in March scoring seven goals in seven matches since returning from injury.
Hogan has carried on his fine form this season and a number of clubs, including Leicester City, Hull City and Derby County have been keeping tabs on the 24-year-old.
Swansea have now joined the chase for Hogan with scouts from the Welsh club watching the attacker on several occasions this season as they weigh up a move for the player when the transfer window reopens in January.
