Swansea want one more signing – Beattie

Swansea are waiting for the results of Eder’s medical before pushing through a deal expected to be worth around £5million for the Sporting Braga striker.

The 27-year-old will join fellow new recruits Andre Ayew, Franck Tabanou and Kristoffer Nordfeldt at the Liberty Stadium, and Garry Monk is not looking to do much other business.

“I think if we do acquire Eder then Garry will be happy for the moment, but in football, you can never say never,” Beattie told the South Wales Evening Post.

“I know the other big thing for the club is the integration of players into the group, so a lot of work is done on the background of the players and their characteristics.

“We are pleased with the acquisitions we have got at the moment with Andre Ayew and Kristoffer Nordfeldt, the young keeper who has come in to try to push Fabianski.

“I think they are the sort of players who can come in and improve the squad.

“We are more than happy with the business we have done so far but if we get Eder and possibly one other, then I think Garry will be more than happy with it.”
