Nine to go at Anfield

IMO the following can leave the club in orders funds to be found for better players since our obligations will be more next year and we can not use players in FA cup to rest the regulars

Adrian, Lovren, Shaq, Origi, Keita (due to many injuries), Lallana, Chrivella (maybe loan), Grujic (maybe loan), Brewster (loan).

Jones and Wilson must stay epsecially the latter to claim a position in the reular team. He is 22 years old.

Players to see Werner, a new CB, a back up LB and GK, Aubameyang and 2 midfielders (Pellegrini??) one of them to be creative like Coutinho was.
h/Mane
At this stage there are a lot of players who want to join the club and there is no need to pay more that they deserve.

Players like Sancho, Harvetz at 100 mil do not think that they can join us. Sancho has fantstic statistics and only if a player leaves (Mane or Salah) may spend money.
Of course prices less than 160-170 mil are not accepted. Pogba can not cost more than 100 when he has not played for almost 2 years and Salah/Mane less than 150!!!

pinesz… I got to disappoint you on one matter, the club can never start offloading players because of injuries, if a player under contract suffers injuries you just have to stick with him.

If you do not stick with him, you are opening a can of worms, really bad ones as other players will start thinking about what happens if they get injured.

They will simple stop putting their body on the line as they see that their loyalty and effort is not rewarded.

They will start thinking about the consequences of getting injured… having to take a paycut, having to look for another club, needing to uproot their families to a new location, that their kids need to find a new school, losing touch with friends and making new ones, off feeling betrayed by the club etc.

Lovren latest

Just reading the reports that Lovren is considering a move to Arsenal. I know these things rarely eventuate, but how funny would that be! Arsenal, with the most calamatous backline of the last 10 years signing one of the most calamatous defenders to partner another calamatous defender in David Luiz. Certainly would be entertaining for us non-Arsenal supporters!

New Chelsea keeper

There`s rumour bout Dean Henderson, 50m.

If we decide to buy a new GK, who should it be?
1) Jan Oblak
2) André Onana
3) Dean Henderson
4) Nick Pope
5) Gianluigi Donnarumma
6) Aaron Ramsdale
7) Other

André Onana is my preferred choice, why? because he is a cheaper alternative to these overpriced goalkeepers, he wants to come to Chelsea, and he has proven experience at the highest order. and he is 23 like Henderson who will be impossible to sign from United.

Nick Pope may come for a cheaper price but I agree that Onana sounds to be a perfect choice as he wants to come to Chelsea and his price would be much cheaper than Oblak. Henderson, agreed 999, cannot see Utd selling him to us.

However, Donnarumma’s contract expires in 2021 and he hasn’t signed an extension yet. And he started to learn English!! I think this guy may be massive for us. An Italian international, 21 years old.

We are lately linked with Philippe Coutinho (hopefully we won’t go for him) and Serie A’s Pjanic and Lautaro Martinez. The latter I reckon would go to a “bigger” club like Barca and we don’t stand a chance here.

Get Boga back

“How many young players have been sold by Chelsea at a fairly low price (based on the current market) and then thrive somewhere else?

Mohamed Salah and Kevin de Bruyne have been among the world’s best players for Liverpool and Manchester City respectively. Romelu Lukaku, Nathan Ake, Ryan Bertrand and Nathaniel Chalobah have been important parts of their respective clubs.

Chelsea must avoid making same mistake and seriously consider triggering the buy-back clause for Sassuolo’s Jeremie Boga.

The 23-year-old has not been world-beater, but he has shown a glimpse of a great winger in Serie A.

Boga has scored eight goals and provided two assists from 23 appearances for Sassuolo. But what makes him special is his ability to glide past defenders with his pace and elusiveness.

He completed 4.4 dribbles per game. In fact, he is by far the best dribbler in the Italian top division this season.”

He has completed a total of 106 dribbles in Serie A this season. That’s 30 more than the second-best Fiorentina’s Gaetano Castrovilli.

For reference, Neymar completed a total of 90 dribbles in Ligue 1 this season.”
