Phil Neville, Dion Dublin and Matt Holland have selected their best Premier League sides of the season – with Chelsea pair Diego Costa and David Luiz featuring heavily.

With 20 games gone, Chelsea top the table by five points, with Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United all still hoping to have a say in the destination of the title.

And speaking to the official Premier League website, three pundits have named their teams of the season so far.

De Bruyne Kante Pogba Lallana

Neville named five Chelsea players in his starting line-up, with representatives from Sunderland, Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool.

On the inclusion of Pogba, he said: “He will probably be one of the all-time great Premier League players.”

Dublin noted that he “could quite easily just go with the whole Chelsea team,” before realising that he’d probably have to make a few changes. In come Phil Jones of Manchester United, Danny Rose of Tottenham, and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez. “Those three players that I’ve put in have been outstanding,” he adds.

Matt Holland’s XI

Azpilicueta Van Dijk Luiz

De Bruyne Kante Lallana Hazard

Costa Ibrahimovic Sanchez

Yes, that is Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard as wing-backs. “They’re not particularly wing-backs,” he explains, “but they’ll have to do a job for me.

“There’s not the most defenders in that time, but they’d be exciting to watch, that’s for sure.”
