Todd Boehly sends Man Utd striker target incredible ‘double your money’ contract offer to help Chelsea win race

Chelsea chairman Todd Boehly is willing to double the salary of Napoli talisman Victor Osimhen in order to beat Manchester United to his signature, according to a report.
Osimhen looks set to be the subject of an intense transfer race in the summer. He has been in blistering form this season, reaching 21 goals in just 25 appearances, and this has put Europe’s top clubs on alert.
The striker’s Napoli contract runs until June 2025 and their owner, Aurelio De Laurentiis, is determined to keep him. The chief has even publicly declared that Napoli have no financial problems, which means they do not have to sell Osimhen to raise funds.
However, the huge money being talked about will surely prove too good for De Laurentiis to keep Osimhen. There are rumours he could move to either Chelsea or Man Utd for £123million, which would eclipse the current British transfer record held by Enzo Fernandez (£107m).
Ten Hag has created a three-man striker shortlist to revamp his attack this summer. Osimhen, Harry Kane and Benjamin Sesko are the three stars under consideration.
On Tuesday, the Manchester Evening News provided an update on Man Utd’s transfer plans. They claim the Red Devils have ‘prioritised’ a striker signing, while a big-name midfielder could also arrive at Old Trafford. Frenkie de Jong and Jude Bellingham are the two players being looked at in that department.

Italian source Calciomercato have now weighed in on Osimhen’s situation. They state the Nigeria international is at the top of Ten Hag’s centre-forward wish list, ahead of Kane and Sesko.
However, Man Utd are not leading the race for his services as things stand. That is because Boehly is pushing hard to take the Serie A ace to Chelsea.
Chelsea offer to double Victor Osimhen salary
Blues officials have re-opened talks with Osimhen and his entourage in the last few days. And they have told Osimhen he can double his salary by moving to Stamford Bridge.
The 24-year-old currently earns around £77,000 a week, according to Calciomercato. But Boehly is ready to double that in order to help Chelsea win the transfer pursuit. So by joining Chelsea, Osimhen could receive £154,000 per week.
It is unclear how much Man Utd are prepared to pay Osimhen as they have yet to reach this stage of negotiations with the player and his agent.
But what the report does state is that ‘the Premier League is calling’ for Osimhen. As mentioned earlier, De Laurentiis will simply have to sell his star man if Chelsea and Man Utd come forward with bids over £120m.
It is always a risk for a club to spend so much money on one player. It puts huge pressure on them to perform well almost instantly.
However, Osimhen appears capable of adapting to the Prem quickly and bagging his first goal early on. Following Napoli’s recent Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt, during which Osimhen scored, Owen Hargreaves gave him a glowing recommendation.
“He’s probably the next £100million player who will come over to the Premier League. Man Utd, Chelsea, a lot of teams would be desperate to have this guy,” the pundit said.
“He has everything, he’s got size, he’s got speed, he’s got strength. His numbers are top. Any manager would be desperate to have him as he’s got everything.”
Fellow pundit Eniola Aluko also backed Chelsea to sign Osimhen ahead of Man Utd.
