Joe Hart: Wanted by West Ham

Torino president Urbano Cairo has questioned Joe Hart’s recent performances for the club, claiming they have deteriorated as speculation over his future has increased.

Manchester City goalkeeper Hart has been on loan at the Serie A club this season after being deemed surplus to requirements by Pep Guardiola.

And while Hart made a decent start to life in Italy – Torino’s head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic admitted he wanted to sign Hart in a permanent deal this summer – his performances since have gone a little pear shaped with the England keeper at fault for Crotone’s equaliser in a 1-1 draw this weekend.

“There’s too much being said about Hart,” Cairo told Tuttosport.

“Since this has been happening, his performance levels have dropped. This is already the third time we concede a goal this way and that’s a bit too much.”

“It happens and I like him, but come on…

“He’s a great goalkeeper, though, and let’s see how things evolve.”

As well as Torino, Hart has also been linked with moves to Liverpool, West Ham, Everton and Arsenal and specualtion over his future is sure to increase as the summer transfer window draws ever closer.
