Tottenham chase England starlet tracked by Liverpool, Man Utd
Tottenham have joined Liverpool and Manchester United in the hunt for Norwich youngster Ben Godfrey this summer, according to a report.
Godfrey, in his breakthrough season for Norwich, developed into a key man for the Championship-winning Canaries, making 36 appearances in all competitions.
Liverpool were linked with the 21-year-old centre-back in March, while United have also watching the youngster due to his links with Rio Ferdinand, but Spurs are now also interested, claim The Metro.
Former United defender Ferdinand mentors Godfrey at his New Era agency and has been recommending the England Under-20 man to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Last month Godfrey, who is under contract with Norwich until 2022, was rated in the £15million bracket, but the Canaries are under no real pressure to sell and the player will likely be guaranteed regular Premier League football next season at Carrow Road.
Therefore it will most likely take an offer north of £15million to land the defender, who can also play in central midfield.
Lyon and RB Leipzig are also reportedly interested in the player, who played on loan at Shrewsbury the season before last.
