Ajax striking sensation Justin Kluivert looks sent to disappoint Manchester United and Tottenham after reportedly agreeing to join Roma instead this summer.
The Dutch starlet is one of Europe’s most sought after young players, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists in 30 Eredivise appearances last season.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is a big admirer of the attacker and had been hoping to seal a summer move, but Corriere dello Sport claims that Kluivert will chose Roma over a switch to north London.
The report goes on to state that Tottenham had made an offer of around €25million for the 19-year-old but that the giallorossi are his preferred destination.
The son of Dutch legend Patrick Kluivert feels that Rome is a better place for his football education, as was also reported by Calciomercato.
It would appear, meanwhile, that Pochettino is not on his way to Real Madrid this summer after the Spanish giants gave up on trying to lure the Argentine to The Bernabeu.
