Tottenham reignite interest in £43m Arsenal, Inter target

Tottenham have reportedly reignited their interest in Bordeaux winger Malcom as Mauricio Pochettino steps up his hunt for new players.
Inter Milan are thought to be favourites to land the Brazilian, who is valued at £43million by the Ligue 1 club, while Arsenal are also known admirers of the attacker – who has also been linked with a potential loan exit.
But Football.London claims that Spurs’ chief scout Steve Hitchin is a big fan of the 21-year-old and that Tottenham are expected to try and push through a deal for the player over the next couple of weeks.
In all likelihood it will take a club record deal to land the versatile star, eclipsing the £42m fee paid for central defender Davinson Sanchez last summer.
However, funds are not believed to be an issue for Pochettino this summer, despite the club moving into their expensive new stadium in September, and Malcom could be the first of a few new arrivals in north London as Spurs prepare for another season of Champions League football.
