Levy receives word after ordering ‘serious’ Tottenham striker bid

Tottenham have tabled a “serious” offer for Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik, who the Italian side will only sell for £45million, according to a report.

Previous reports have indicated that Spurs are keen on the Poland international, whose future is the subject of speculation.

Milk’s contract runs out next summer, with Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli confirming that the club would resolve his situation “one way or another” before next season.

Should Milik reject the offer of a new deal, Giuntoli also confirmed that he would place the striker on the market.

However, according to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla claimed that offers have already arrived for his services.

“There are two serious offers for Arek Milik,” the journalist told SportItalia Mercato. “They are Juventus and Tottenham.

“The Pole prefers the Old Lady. Napoli, to sell the player, asks for a sum equal to €50million. He will not be satisfied.”

What’s more, Pedulla added that Napoli’s asking price for the 26-year-old will not drop.

Napoli intend to use the funds to go after Lille striker Victor Osimhen, their top target for a replacement.

“There will not even be offers of 40 or 35 million for Milik. Nobody wants to invest a lot of money for a player who in 12 months will free himself on a free transfer,” he added.

“Napoli at the moment he does not accept any counterparts. He wants to have an important amount to reinvest it on Osimhen, the striker chosen to replace Milik.

“[Jose] Callejon will extend the contract until the end of the season, then he will go to Spain.”

Milik joined Napoli in 2016 and despite showing spells of good form, injuries have dominated his tenure.

TOTTENHAM KEEN ON LILLE DEFENDER?

Elsewhere, Tottenham have reportedly bid €30million for Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes.

Reports in January linked Arsenal and Chelsea with the 22-year-old, but Spurs are also keen.

Indeed, the latest report says the defender could end up in a different part of London if Spurs’ bid is successful.
