Leeds United will open the 2019-20 season with the long trip to Ashton Gate to face Bristol City in the first weekend of August.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side, who missed out on a top two finish last season and lost to Derby in the play-offs, will be hoping to go one better this time around.

Following their opening match, the Whites will then face a home match against Nottingham Forest before tackling Wigan at the DW Stadium.

Leeds face rivals Huddersfield away on December 7 and at home on March 7, while their Festive programme pits them against Preston at home on Boxing Day and West Brom away on New Year’s Day.

The season ends for Bielsa’s side with matches against Barnsley (H), Derby (A) and Charlton (H).
