Arsenal face a fight to keep Gabriel Martinelli, Leeds’ move for a striker has collapsed due to Covid-19, while Chelsea chase a Hertha Berlin winger and Spurs track a centre-back, all in the Euro papers.
PEP TALKING TO MARTINELLI
Manchester City and Real Madrid are stepping up their interest in Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli, claims a report in Spain.
Don Balon claim that Pep Guardiola is trying to convince the 18-year-old forward that his future will be best served in Manchester after a brilliant debut season.
The attacker has scored 10 goals and grabbed four assists and that has led to Guardiola discussing a bid for Martinelli with City officials.
Real Madrid also want the youngster and they have asked about Martinelli as a makeweight in a potential permanent deal for Dani Ceballos.
It looks as though the Gunners face an almighty battle to keep the Brazilian-born star, who is under contract until 2024.
