Manchester United have held initial talks with a midfielder to replace Paul Pogba and have enlisted the help of a super-agent to secure the deal, while Arsenal and Chelsea both want Jerome Boateng, all in the papers.

UNITED CHASE MILINKOVIC-SAVIC

Manchester United have found their perfect replacement for Paul Pogba and have already held talks with the player’s entourage, according to a report in France.

Pogba is keener than ever to leave United with L’Equipe and AS both reporting the France World Cup winner is still hankering after a summer move.

United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are well aware and are lining up a move for Lazio man Sergej Milinkovic-Savic according to FootMercato via Sport Witness.

They have an exclusive and report that United see him as the “perfect prototype” to replace Pogba and have already “gone up a gear” in their pursuit of the midfielder, who is rated in €120m bracket by Italian paper Tuttosport.

The French outlet claim that United have held “first discussions”with his agent Mateja Kezman and they are also using super-agent Fali Ramadani to help broker the deal.

United’s interest in the player charts back to almost two years to the Jose Mourinho era, with Solskjaer also seemingly keen on the Serbian having been linked with him over the summer.
