Paper Talk: Man Utd enquire about Serie A duo; Everton make £65m double swoop

Date published: Tuesday 26th May 2020 8:10

Manchester United are interested in a Juventus duo, Everton have laid out £65million for two players and Chelsea have a Plan B in case they miss out on Jadon Sancho, all in the papers.

UNITED MONITOR JUVE PAIR

Manchester United have launched enquiries for Juventus stars Douglas Costa and Merih Demiral, claims a report.

Attacker Costa and defender Demiral are believed to be perfect for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad this summer and Tuttosport claim a double deal is on the cards.

The 29-year-old Brazilian Costa has made 14 appearances in Serie A this season but has failed to score, while Demiral, 22, injured his left knee in January and was ruled out for six months.

However, a club statement earlier this month confirmed he had returned to training.
