Paper Talk: Levy tempted as Man City plot cash plus two player swap for Kane
Manchester City are preparing to offer two players, plus cash, for Harry Kane, while Tuesday’s transfer gossip claims two Chelsea stars are nearing moves to AC Milan, while a third is wanted at Tottenham.
TOTTENHAM TO RECEIVE HUGE KANE OFFER
Manchester City reportedly plan to offer cash plus two of their big-name players in exchange for Harry Kane this summer.
The Tottenham striker is pushing for a summer exit after growing disillusioned at his club’s lack of trophy success. That has led to strong speculation of moves to one of City, Manchester United and Chelsea.
And after plundering an impressive 221 goals in 336 appearances for Tottenham, it’s easy to see why he’s a man in demand.
However, his £150m valuation is proving a sticking point, even for moneybags City.
But The Sun reports City, who lead the way – and they are ready to propose the swap deal to win the race.
According to their exclusive, City plan to offer cash plus Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus for Kane.
Sterling has lost his place in the City side this season and reports at the weekend claimed he would be allowed to leave. That saw him linked with a shock £60m move to Arsenal.

Jesus, meanwhile, has struggled to convince Pep Guardiola he can be the long-term answer to replacing Sergio Aguero. And by offering him to Spurs, they could find an instant replacement for Kane.
The report claims Spurs chairman Daniel Levy could be tempted by the proposal, which is likely to include £40m in cash.
