Euro Paper Talk: Liverpool one of three eyeing pacy £67m La Liga winger

Liverpool are one of three sides targeting a move for a pacy La Liga winger, while Tottenham have a €25m bid rejected for a goalkeeper – all in the latest European papers.

LIVERPOOL ONE OF THREE KEEN ON DEMBELE

Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are all prepared to offer £67m for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele this summer, according to reports.

Dembele moved to Barca for €105m (£88m) in the summer of 2017 but has failed to live up to his price tag, mainly due to injuries.

The Frenchman made 24 appearances in all competitions in his first season, which was hampered by a hamstring problem, before an ankle injury restricted him to 29 outings last term.

Dembele has only made five appearances this campaign, however, with another hamstring injury keeping him sidelined and according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, his value has dropped considerably from the price paid to Dortmund for his signature.

The source claims that Barcelona should have cashed in last summer when the Catalan giants would have got the best return on the 22-year-old, although teams do retain an interest in the World Cup winner.

It is said that Liverpool and London duo Arsenal and Chelsea are prepared to offer £67m, but no more, for Dembele this summer.

The move will leave Barca with a gap in their squad which Don Balon claims will be filled by the return of Neymar.

Barca are reportedly aiming to sell both Philippe Coutinho and Dembele this summer to raise enough funds for a move for the Paris Saint-Germain star.
