Liverpool are ready to cut their losses on a contract rebel this week, while N’Golo Kante has two reasons why he wants to quit Chelsea in January, according to Tuesday’s paper gossip.

Liverpool are reportedly ready to cash in on young defender Yasser Larouci before Friday’s EFL transfer deadline.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Norwich are interested in signing the left-back, who has previously been linked with Leeds.

The 19-year-old is out of contract at Liverpool at the end of the season and has turned down the offer of a new deal, according to the report.

The report adds that instead of sending the youngster out on loan, the Reds will look to sell the Algerian instead.

Andy Robertson is the clear first-choice left-back at Liverpool, while the Premier League champions signed Konstantinos Tsimikas over the summer.

That means that Larouci is unlikely to get much playing time at Anfield, with an exit seemingly inevitable.
