Liverpool and Man Utd target Jadon Sancho has decided on his next destination, while Islam Slimani’s reason for not joining Villa has been revealed, according to Thursday’s Paper Talk.

SANCHO MAKES HIS MIND UP AS LIVERPOOL STEP UP BID

Liverpool have reportedly made it very clear to Borussia Dortmund that they want to sign England winger Jadon Sancho this summer, but the player himself favours a different destination.

Manchester United, City and Chelsea are also known to be chasing the attacker, but a report in the Daily Mail claims that Jurgen Klopp is hoping his connections at the German club will give them the upper hand.

The 19-year-old, who is good friends with Reds quartet Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jordan Henderson and Rhian Brewster, looks certain to quit the Bundesliga this summer – with the latest reports suggesting that his time in Dortmund is done.

The Daily Mail reports that the England man could cost potential suitors around £100million, with some suggestions that the fee could go as high as £120m, as Dortmund hope that a bidding war will ensue.

But despite Liverpool making their stance clear, it would appear that Sancho is favoring a switch to Old Trafford instead.

The Daily Mirror states the youngster, who has scored 12 goals and added 13 assists in just 19 Bundesliga games this term, is willing to accept United’s offer of over £200,000 a week – a figure that both Liverpool and Chelsea are not willing to match.
