Manchester United are closing on the big signing of a highly-rated French star, Ben White has addressed talk he’s signing for Arsenal, while Monday’s transfer gossip claims a big-money Liverpool target has been cleared to leave.

CAMAVINGA TRANSFER GO AHEAD FOR MAN UTD

Manchester United are reportedly growing in confidence that a deal with Rennes for Eduardo Camavinga will soon be sealed.

United football director John Murtough has moved to within touching distance of a deal for Jadon Sancho. The Red Devils failed with a move for the England international last summer, but look to have succeeded this time round.

However, he’s wasting little time on working on his next target with midielder Camavinga next in line.

The 18-year-old has been on United’s radar for some time. But on Sunday, he was mentioned as a potential target for the Red Devils once again.

Now United are stepping up that chase, with the Daily Mirror claiming his agent has given the deal a big thumbs up.

Rennes too are also willing to sell with Camavinga’s deal due to expire in just a year’s time. The fee is likely to be around £35m – and that will suit all parties.

According to the Daily Mirror, via French publication RMC, talks over the deal will take place next week.

All being well, a deal will be ironed out soon after to talk Camavinga to Old Trafford.

And it’s likely to spell a busy summer for his agent Jonathan Barnett, who also represents Jack Grealish and Gareth Bale.

Grealish also looks set to be on the move with an £88m deal seemingly already agreed.

Transfer Chatter - Three Clubs in for Jack Grealish, Liverpool eyeing Portugal midfielder and Leeds monitoring Copa America star

Aston Villa bracing themselves as three clubs want Jack Grealish, Liverpool keeping tabs on ex-Premier League midfielder at EURO 2020 and Marcelo Bielsa intrigued by Chilean star in the Copa America, all in today's transfer chatter.

“It is going to be harder. I’m expecting three or four very big deals of my own that will break a lot of records,” Barnett told The Athletic.

“Hopefully, they’ll come about. For the smaller clubs, I think there won’t be as many transfers. We have some very good players.

“We have probably the best young player in the world in Camavinga. We’ve got [Jack] Grealish. We’ve got [Ibrahima] Konate at Leipzig. But then I’ve got over 100 players.”
