Matteo Guendouzi could leave Arsenal this summer with Arsenal pushing to sign a Hungarian midfielder, while Bayern Munich are pushing to get a deal done for Kai Havertz, all in the papers.
GUENDOUZI IN CONTACT WITH NUMEROUS CLUBS
Matteo Guendouzi’s future is in doubt at Arsenal after he was again left out of the side that defeated Southampton.
Mikel Arteta explained the midfielder’s absence as “squad management” and said: “Whatever issue we have internally, I will resolve in a private way.”
The relationship between the pair has reportedly broken down and both parties are believed to be open to the 21-year-old moving on.
And Guendouzi is apparently in contact with a number of top European clubs, according to TF1 via GFFN.
The Frenchman has already held initial talks with Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Inter and Paris Saint-Germain though it’s unclear whether any of those will make a bid for the player.
His potential departure could allow Arteta to get Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai into the club.
The Express. via French journalist Manu Lonjon, say Arsenal and AC Milan are in advanced talks with the Hungarian midfielder.
Meanwhile, Philippe Coutinho’s agent Kia Joorabchian is working hard on a move to Arsenal with Barcelona keen to move him on this summer.
