Rayan Ait-Nouri TEAMtalk

Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Rayan Ait-Nouri, while Chelsea are chasing a Real Madrid defender and shock Cristiano Ronaldo exit talk, all in the papers.

UNITED TO SIGN LEFT-BACK

Manchester United are looking to sign 19-year-old Angers left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri, according to FootMercato.

The defender has also attracted interest from Manchester City, but United are at the head of the queue with Angers preparing for the player’s exit.

Angers are close to completing a deal for left-back Oussama Falouh after already signing Souleyman Doumbia for the same position.

Ait-Nouri has visited England, accompanied by his agent and was able to visit the facilities of several clubs, believed to be City and United.

The Jorge Mendes-owned player who is under contract until June 2023 could become the most expensive player in the club’s history. Surpassing the €27m that Lyon paid for Jeff Reine-Adélaïde last summer.
