Manchester United have a goalkeeper, left-back and centre-back in their sights, while Chelsea want a Swiss midfielder as well as Kai Havertz this summer, all in the papers.
UNITED CHASE TRIO
Man Utd want to be “kept in the loop” on Atletico Madrid star Jan Oblak’s situation, claims The Sun.
Chelsea are also keen on the Slovenia No. 1, who is understood to be open to a new challenge. Boss Frank Lampard is far from happy with Kepa Arrizabalaga, but United are rivalling the Blues with their interest.
They have doubts of their own surrounding David de Gea and are tracking Oblak’s situation.
Oblak’s release clause stands at €120million in Madrid, but Atletico have been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic and they could be a deal to be done.
Meanwhile, United are also trying to gatecrash Chelsea’s move for left-back Alex Telles.
Lampard’s top target is Ben Chilwell, but Porto star Telles is a cheaper alternative.
Reports from Portugal have pointed Telles towards Stamford Bridge for months, but Record now suggest both Manchester clubs have a chance of signing the 27-year-old.
And finally, Man Utd and Man City are both reportedly keen on Inter defender Milan Skriniar.
The 25-year-old centre-back has become one of Inter’s key men since arriving from Sampdoria and previously the defender has been labelled as non-transferable.
Calciomercato via Tuttosport claim both Manchester clubs are interested in him, as well as Paris Saint-Germain.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is privately believed to be looking for a partner for Harry Maguire, publicly he claims United are “fine”.
