UNITED MAKE ERIKSEN ENQUIRY

Manchester United have made a firm enquiry for  Inter Milan’s Christian Eriksen, claims a report.

The former Spurs star has struggled in his time at Inter after leaving last January. he has fallen firmly out of favour with Antonio Conte and is expected to leave next month.

Indeed, Inter CEO Beppe Marotta recently admitted that the transfer, even though it was a “bargain”, has not been “functional” for the club.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Eriksen has an agreement with Inter to leave the San Siro in January. And United chief Ed Woodward is believed to have approached the Serie A giants to discuss a January move.

Arsenal and West Ham have been credited with an interest in the Denmark international, who was also been offered back to Tottenham.

According to Football Insider, Jose Mourinho has said “no thanks” to the idea of signing Eriksen.

The Italian source claims Inter want in the region of £27m for a player they paid around £16.9m 12 months ago.
