Transfer of major Man Utd target is ‘inevitable’, as Euro giant prepare shock Tottenham raid to sign direct replacement

A Man Utd striker target’s summer exit has been termed ‘inevitable’, and his club are ready to raid Tottenham to sign a direct replacement, per reports.
The Red Devils are known to be hunting an elite-level centre-forward this summer. All manner of names have been linked including Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen, Goncalo Ramos, Mohammed Kudus and Dusan Vlahovic, to name just five.
The latter, 23, only signed for Juventus in the winter window of 2022. The Serbia international cost Juve a hefty €80m (including add-ons), though despite living up to his billing, may be on the move already.
A 15-point deduction means Juventus are all but certain to miss out on the vital riches Champions League qualification provides. Max Allegri’s side currently sit seventh, though are a whopping 12 points off Jose Mourinho’s Roma in fourth.
Italian outlet CalcioMercatoWeb report Vlahovic – who’s scored 19 in 46 for Juventus – is practically certain to be sold at season’s end. In their words, the frontman’s exit is ‘almost inevitable’.
That’ll alert Man Utd as well as Chelsea who’ve both been linked with bringing Vlahovic to England.
Ben Jacobs stressed the Blues are “one to watch” with regards to Vlahovic when running the rule over Chelsea’s striker plans last week. Calciomercato.it, meanwhile, recently claimed Man Utd have their eye on the centre-forward.
CMW add Juve will sanction a sale if a bid of around €80m- €90m is received. That roughly equates to £70.8m-£79.6m.
As such, Vlahovic would represent a more cost effective option if United were priced out of moves for Kane or Osimhen. Either of that pair would be sexier signings than Vlahovic, though are expected to cost well in excess of £100m in the event Tottenham or Napoli can be cajoled into selling.

Juventus to replace Vlahovic with Richarlison?
If CMW are correct and Vlahovic does take flight, they report his direct replacement could come in the form of Tottenham flop Richarlison.
The Brazilian has endured an injury-riddled first season in north London that he recently described as “s***”.
Richarlison cost a hefty £60m when plucked from Everton, though is still yet to score his first league goal for Spurs.
However, his 10 goals in 10 for Brazil in 2022 while playing primarily at centre-forward show the talent is definitely there.
Juventus are seemingly of the belief his Spurs nightmare is just a blip and he’s deemed the “perfect replacement” for Vlahovic.
