9.03pm: Barcelona have signed Rey Manaj from Albacete for an initial €700,000. The 22-year-old has agreed a contract until June 2023.

8.44pm: Aston Villa have announced the signing of striker Mbwana Samatta from Genk on a four-and-a-half-year deal.

8.25pm: Inter Milan are considering a summer move for Real Madrid’s Luka Modric – according to Diario Sport – given that Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane is expected to push through a big-money move for another midfielder in the summer.

8.06pm: Sheffield United are close to signing Nottingham Forest defender Jack Robinson, according to the PA News Agency. A potential new signing – thought to be Robinson – was shown around the club’s facilities on Monday.

7.45pm: Watford are to battle with Lyon for the signing of Reims left-back Hassane Hassane Kamara, according to Le10 Sport.

7.27pm: Leicester and Aston Villa are both interested in a deal to bring Amiens striker Serhou Guirassy to the Premier League, according to Get French Football News.

7.04pm: Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek has denied that he has had contact from Real Madrid over a move to the Spanish capital. Read more here…

6:31pm: Further talks between Sporting Lisbon and Manchester United over Bruno Fernandes have failed to lead anywhere, according to reports. Read more…

6.11pm: Hearts have confirmed the signing of Donis Avdijaj from Turkish side Trabzonspor, subject to international clearance.

5.30pm: Aston Villa goalkeeper Lovre Kalinic has joined French Ligue 1 team Toulouse on loan till the end of the season. The keeper has struggled for game time at Villa park, a move was best to make way for new signing Pepe Reina.

5.10pm: Brighton have reportedly placed a bid for Romanian club CFR Cluj striker Billel Omrani. The offer is believed to be in the region of €3.5m.

4.45pm: Rangers winger Jamie Murphy has gone on loan to the League One club Burton Albion until the end of the season. The 30-year-old had previously worked under Nigel Clough at Sheffield United.

4.40pm: Atletico Madrid have officially approached Paris Saint Germain striker Edinson Cavani after he handed in a transfer request this morning. The striker is currently injured with a groin strain, making it his sixth injury in the 19/20 season.

4.30pm: Inter Milan are one step closer to signing Spurs midfielder Christian Eriksen after offering to pay the £11m plus two bonuses to sign the Dane. This agreement could see Eriksen at the San Siro sooner than we thought.

4.20pm: Real Madrid have signed teenager Reinier Carvalho from the Brazilian club Flamengo. The 18-year-old is expected to have agreed a deal at the Bernabéu until June 2026.

4.10pm: Sheffield United have had their bid accepted for Nottingham Forest full-back Jack Robinson. According to reports the bid was a ‘seven-figure’ sum – with both Sheffield United and the player ready to discuss personal terms.

3.50pm: Liverpool have made their stance clear that winger Xherdan Shaqiri will not be allowed to leave to join Italian side Roma in the transfer window. The Italian giants are now exploring the possibility of recruiting their second option – AC Milan winger Suso.

3.31pm: Out of favour Crystal Palace striker Connor Wickham could be on his way out on loan. Palace boss Roy Hodgson has admitted the striker needs more first team football – with a loan the most likely of options. Hodgson’s comments has seen a number of Championship sides register an interest.

3.15pm: Wolves are in advanced talks with Olympiakos over the winger Daniel Podence. The Greek side have set an asking price of £21.5m which Wolves are currently negotiating.

2pm: Leeds have been linked with a move for Rayo Vallecano’s Adrian Embarba. The 27-year-old has seven goals and 11 assists in LaLiga2 this season. West Ham and Norwich are also reported to be on the hunt.
