Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel reportedly believes Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford would be a “perfect” signing for the French champions.

Rashford is enjoying his best season in front of goal, scoring 21 goals in 38 games across all competitions.

Indeed, he has netted twice and provided three assists in six games since the Premier League’s restart.

Rashford was close to joining Barcelona earlier in his career and, according to The Independent, he is now also a target for PSG.

Tuchel has earmarked the England international as a “top target” and believes he would be ideal in the front line alongside Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

Indeed, Tuchel has allegedly told senior PSG figures that England “don’t realise how good a player Rashford actually is”.

In fact, the manager has also reportedly thought about the possibility of the striker replacing Mbappe. The Frenchman has been heavily linked with Real Madrid.

As such, PSG are willing to pay the £100m-plus that United would demand for the 22-year-old.

United, however, are unlikely to let Rashford leave Old Trafford given his development into one of the club’s star forwards.

German manager Tuchel is also keen as Rashford is “the perfect role model of the modern dynamic attacking player”.

Rashford has played across the front line for United, playing down the left most often this term.

Rashford Greenwood Martial TEAMtalk

Bruno Fernandes‘ contributions have proved vital in Rashford and his fellow United attackers beginning to floruish.

Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Anthony Martial have all contributed goals since the Premier League’s restart, helping push the side towards Champions League football next season.

Greenwood, 18, has particularly caught the eye given his tender age. But Gary Neville, while impressed with the striker, says United still need a new recruit up top.
