Arsenal are reportedly ready to sell striker Danny Welbeck this summer as Unai Emery looks to shape his own squad at The Emirates.
New Gunners boss Emery also wants to offload David Ospina and Lucas Perez, according to the report in The Sun, as he looks to add some quality to his squad.
Everton are said to be considering a £15million move for England forward Welbeck, who is in the final year of his contract and has yet to be offered a new deal.
The 27-year-old is behind Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in the race to land a central striking role at the club and has very little chance of ousting either under Emery.
Signed in a £16m deal from Manchester United in 2014, Welbeck has scored just 15 Premier League goals for the Gunners in four seasons.
And he faces up to the prospect of a long spell on the subs’ bench, unless he can secure a permanent move before the Premier League transfer deadline on August 9.
New Toffees boss Marco Silva is reportedly monitoring Welbeck’s situation but will only try and land the former United star if he fails with a £36m bid for Bordeaux winger Malcom.
Colombia keeper Ospina is also surplus to requirements following the arrival of £19.2m Bernd Leno, while Perez wants to fight for his place but has scored only one Premier League goal for the Gunners since his £17m move from Spain in 2016.
