Unai Emery to use Sevilla links to land £18million Arsenal target
Arsenal are reportedly hoping that Unai Emery’s Sevilla links will see them land £18million goalkeeping target Sergio Rico.
The 24-year-old came through the youth ranks at the La Liga club but according to reports from Spain he is expected to quit the club this summer for a fresh challenge.
The report states, in rather odd English ‘his age and his physical and technical virtues make him a very attractive goalkeeper followed on the continent … especially by the Arsenal of Emery’.

It is well known that the Gunners are after a new No. 1 one to replace the aging Petr Cech, while back-up David Ospina has never fully shown that he is up to the job on a regular basis.
Sevilla are said to be preparing for the departure of 24-year-old Rico, who is under contract until 2021, and are already looking at three potential replacements in Fernando Pacheco, Yassine Bonou and Roberto Jiminez.
Rico made 40 appearances this season, keeping 13 cleansheets and conceding 59 goals and is not expected to be sold for anything less than £18m.
