Watford to kick off campaign against Liverpool

Watford will begin the 2017/18 season by playing Liverpool after the fixtures list for the new season was announced today.
New manager Leonid Slutsky will then lead his side into games against Bournemouth and Brighton and Hove Albion, whilst they play fellow strugglers from last season Burnley on 09 December and 07 April.
Slutsky, who is used to having a winter break in his native Russia, will have to face Leicester City on Boxing Day and then Manchester City on New Years Day. The Hornets finish the campaign with games against Newcastle United and Manchester United.
