Arsene Wenger has reacted to Borussia Dortmund’s claims about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s behaviour prior to his move to Arsenal.
The Gunners landed the Gabon hitman for a club record £57.5million last month, but Dortmund were not happy with how the striker conducted himself in his final weeks with the club.
Indeed, Dortmund chief executive stated that Aubameyang withheld performances in order to force his switch to The Emirates.

Wenger, however, is not worried about the striker’s attitude, telling his press conference ahead of Saturday’s North London derby against Tottenham: “When you look at the history he played only one game, they suspended him for two or three games.
“He played only one game at home against Werder Bremen. Maybe he wasn’t ready physically to perform at his best but I don’t believe he didn’t want to perform.”
Aubameyang scored on his Gunners debut in their 5-1 mauling of Everton on Saturday and will be fully aware of the threat posed by Spurs after facing them twice while at Dortmund in the Champions League this season.
